Until recently I only read what I had to in order to finish my doctoral studies. Presently, I am trying to reaquaint myself with pleasure reading. I enjoy most biographies
Where I eat?
I eat at too many places. I enjoy Red Lobster and Olive Garden
What I want for Christmas (some day)?
My dream present is a trip to the Holy Land
BIOGRAPHY
Richard Cook is the Academic Dean of Global Bible Institute. He brings to Calvary Temple Worship Center 38 years of pastoral ministry experience. His first 16 years of ministry were in Tennessee and he ministered as senior pastor in the San Francisco Bay area for 18 years before coming to Calvary Temple. He has also served on the Presbytery of both the Tennessee and Northern California/Nevada Districts of the Assemblies of God.
Pastor Cook holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries from Bethany College in Scotts Valley, CA as well as a Master of Divinity from King's Seminary in Van Nuys, CA. He has his Doctor of Ministry from The King's Seminary in Van Nuys, CA.
Along with his wife Janie, He serves Global Bible Institute with a passionate desire to mentor the next generation of Pentecostal Ministers. Richard is the father of three children, two of which are ministers as well, and the grandfather of nine.
