The Ministry
Calvary Temple operates a NAME (National Association of Marriage Enhancement) center which utilizes "Care Couples" that mentor other couples. The unique training and certification system used by NAME prepares couples to biblically counsel other couples. The ministry is designed to help people recognize, understand and solve problems in accordance with the Word of God. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, our "Care Couples" disciple and equip other couples in a confidential and safe environment to assist them in dealing with the complexities of the challenges of marriage.

The Goal
Our goal is to prevent any marriage from falling through the cracks and to eliminate the culture of divorce from our church and our city. Demographers estimate that up to 65 percent of all new marriages now fail. Numerous other couples endure their marriage, rather than enjoy their marriage as God intended. Our NAME center is part of a multiplicity of marriage ministry which consists of our adult Sunday school class known as Family Life Ministry, with instruction topically specific to marriage and relational issues. The NAME center is intended to be a "safety net" for struggling marriages, and a place for God to heal and restore broken relationships.

To Schedule an Appointment
Most of our NAME counseling is conducted in the evenings and on the weekends when couples are most available. To schedule an appointment, simply call the church office at (209) 529-7346 and ask to speak to the NAME secretary. Once she has obtained some general information, a "Care Couple" will be assigned and you will be contacted to inform you of the date and time of your scheduled appointment.

Counseling Fees
The NAME center operates as a ministry of the Family Life Ministries Department of Calvary Temple Worship Center. There are NO FEES for this counseling service. All that is required is the investment of your time and an open and willing heart to receive biblical truth that will heal your marriage.
