BIOGRAPHY
Pastor Loren serves as the Administrator of Calvary Temple Academy and the Sound Engineer for Calvary Temple Worship Center. Pastor Loren graduated from Bethany College in Scotts Valley, California and served as a youth pastor for five years prior to becoming a Christian School Principal. He has been actively involved in school administration for the past thirteen years. Along with a gift of administration, God has given Pastor Loren a passion for Christian Education. Believing that all truth is God's truth, students are challenged to fulfill what Jesus taught is the most important commandment: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," Mark 12:30. Pastor Loren's vision for the school is to see our students on fire for God and prepared to serve Him in whatever vocation He has called them to.
In addition to his experience in school administration, Pastor Loren has also been involved in sound system design, installation, and operation since childhood. He enjoys both the technical and creative aspects of sound reinforcement and training others in the understanding and operation of sound systems. "No matter how much technology we use in our worship services, the goal of the sound ministry is to help people experience the presence of God and hear the Word of God."
Pastor Loren has been married to his wife Eva for twenty three years and has two teenage daughters, Rebecca and Erica. His hobbies include running, mountaineering and computers.
