He graduated from high school in 1997, and felt God call him into youth ministry. He began to pursue his calling by attending school at Capital Bible College in Sacramento, CA. While attending Capital Bible College, Jeremy interned for about 3 years at Harvest Church in Elk Grove, Ca.
During his internship, he was given the opportunity to perform an outreach called "Ground Zero," which offered everything from a skate park to BMX racing. Approximately 6,000 people attended "Ground Zero," and thousands of students gave their hearts to the Lord.
During his third year of internship, he was given the opportunity to be the head youth pastor at Harvest Church. After a time, Jeremy felt the need to go back to Bible college to further his education and experience. He began to attend college at Vanguard University, and later transferred to Bethany Bible College in Scotts Valley, Ca.
During his time at Bethany College, Jeremy led a summer intern program at Calvary Temple under Pastor Brandon Beals and was able to introduce his ministry, "Ground Zero".
Following his return to Bethany, he formed an outreach composed of college students whose sole purpose was to ignite passion in the lives of college students and win souls for Christ. Through the dedication and love of these students, a new ministry called "Ntense" was born. As a result of their hard work and commitment, many ministry opportunities opened for Jeremy and his team. They traveled to New york, ministered at two district camps, and soon took a 40-day trip to 22 churches across the nation. Towards the close of his ministry with "Ntense," they were able to travel to 15 different high schools and minister to over 12,000 students.
In the winter of 2003, God opened another door for Jeremy at Calvary Temple in Modesto, Ca., where he became the Associate Youth Pastor. Two months later, he took over as Senior Youth Pastor, where he and his wife, Christy, currently serve with an awesome team of leaders and pastors. Pastor Jeremy's youth and college ministry reaches an average of 900 students throughout each week, and they are seeing God move in ways they never thought possible.
