One of the most exciting ministries at Calvary Temple is Family Life Ministry. Our desire is to develop strong and healthy families, which are the backbone of every successful church.

The attack on the Christian home in today's society is intense. So, we have asked for the Lord's direction to help us design and structure this ministry to strengthen marriage relationships, parenting skills, family life and important personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

It is our desire in Family Life Ministry to help you grow in the Lord and fulfill God's destiny for your family. We have two weekly meetings designed to accomplish this goal. On Sunday morning we provide a Sunday school class which meets from 9:15 to 10:15 in the Fellowship Hall. In this informal class setting, we provide teaching on topics specific to marriage and relationship issues. This is a great place to learn and to develop healthy relationships with other couples. We also conduct a worship service on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the Family Life Theater. This service includes anointed praise and worship followed by an anointed message from the Word of God. We allow time for personal ministry around the altar for individuals, couples and families.

In addition to these weekly meetings, premarital counseling and marriage counseling is available to those preparing for marriage, or for those who are needing some assistance in dealing with the issues of life that often impact the marriage relationship. The NAME Counseling Center operates as a part of Family Life Ministry, providing biblically based counseling by trained Care Couples. This counseling service by lay couples is provided free of charge to all members, as well as non-members attending Calvary Temple Worship Center. We also provide a Divorce Care class for individuals who have experienced the pain of divorce and need support in coping with life after divorce. This class meets on Tuesday evening in the Family Life Center, room 208. Prospective participants need to contact the church office for the next available session.
