BIOGRAPHY Constance B. Pack has responsibility for World Missions and Pastoral Care, including rest home ministries, bereavement care, pre-marital counseling and teaching the Word. Connie has a rich history of ministry. She was raised in a pastor's home and both her maternal and paternal grandparents served as evangelists, pastors, and church planters for the Assemblies of God. Connie and her husband, Jerry, now have the joy of seeing their daughter and son-in-law fulfilling the call to ministry. Jerry's interests include travel, the steel guitar, and golf. Connie enjoys piano and Taylor and Summer, her two grandchildren. After her ordination in 1980, Connie accepted her first ministry assignment at Calvary Temple as Minister of Christian Education. During the next 19 years, she established a ministerial intern program and Global Outreach Bible Institute in Modesto, before establishing a Bible Institute in Estonia. More than 130 ministers have been sent out as missionaries, pastors, teachers and evangelists from her ministry.
In 1999 she gave the administration of Global Bible Institute to new leadership, but her heart continues to beat "missions" and teaching the Word. Connie continues to develop and lead short-term mission teams for Calvary Temple and GBI. God has used her to lead outreach teams to more than thirty nations including China, Australia, Ecuador, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. She has taught in Israel, Ukraine, Japan, Siberia, and Finland. Her ministry includes many other European nations with a long-term emphasis on Russia.
When she isn't planning mission outreaches, she is teaching an exciting growing adult Bible study. Her weekly class "Adult Bible Fellowship" is open to all who want to study the Scripture "line upon line and precept upon precept." As a life-long learner of the Word, she is currently enrolled in graduate studies at Trinity Seminary. One of her favorite subjects to teach is Leadership Principles and deals with such topics as humility, obedience, authority, brokenness, and forgiveness.
She has taught youth camps, kids camps, crusades, retreats and Bible schools in many nations. Her teaching tapes with commentary on each Book of the Old Testament and The Gospels are distributed in China, Cambodia, Ireland, England and the U.S. The teaching is clear; the message is balanced and practical for life application. Each tape includes specific life principles from the study in the Word.
Connie's ministry philosophy can be summed up with, "Know the Word (Jesus) and serve Him with a pure heart."
