// CHUCK CUTSINGER Pastor of Nineveh Outreach
Married to? Marcia for 30 years...31 this July 2nd
Children? 2 boys, Justin 27 and Nathan 24
What I do for fun? Spend time with my wife, play cards, board games, shoot hoops
What TV shows I watch? The Unit, only when it is clean, PBS for the nature and history shows, and sports
What movies I recommend? I usually see chick flicks with Marcia
Where I enjoy traveling? Anywhere I can drive...I love to drive. Marcia and I drove back to Illinois last year. Marcia drove to Sacramento (one hour) and was pulled over by a Police Officer. The officer asked her if she was tired and she said she was "exhausted". The officer told her to let her husband drive. So I drove most of the 33 hours left to Chicago!
What I read? Lately I haven't read more than the Bible. I work hard physically with Nineveh so my time is limited to reading. I am reading The Bate of Satan for now.
Where I eat? I like Mexican food, Chinese Food, and fresh food. Marcia and I don't eat out too much because of diet. We try to eat healthy so we eat home a lot.
What I want for Christmas (some day)? Christmas in the Cutsinger home is about giving and not receiving. We have a tree, lights and all that but we minimize the gifts. I would like to take Marcia to Hawaii some day. Otherwise, I am happy and blessed with what I have. BIOGRAPHY Chuck Cutsinger has been leading Nineveh Outreach at Calvary Temple Worship Center since May of 2004. Before joining us at Calvary, he served as founding Pastor of Faith Assembly Church in Elburn, Illinois, a small suburb West of Chicago. Chuck and his wife Marcia began their church plant in 1991 along with their two sons, Justin and Nathan. The Cutsinger's have been married since July of 1977 and have enjoyed their lives together knowing God has a special calling on them as a couple. They have a passion for God's Word and for His presence in their marriage.
Chuck came to know Christ when he was 16 years old during the Jesus movement of the late 60's. As he experienced revival in his hometown of Rockford, Illinois, Jesus captured Chuck's heart for the backslider and the unsaved. A powerful call was placed on Chuck's life for evangelism as he saw the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in his own life and in those around him. Chuck feels the city of Modesto is ripe for a move of God, much like Rockford was in the 60's. Right after high school Chuck served in the 101st Airborne Airmobile Division of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After serving in the military he graduated from Judson College in Elgin, Illinois, in 1980 with a BS Degree in Psychology and a minor in Bible. Pursuing his credentials with the Assemblies of God he received his license in 1988 and was ordained in 1998.
Marcia graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 1976 with a BA degree in Psychology. She then worked in the social services field before taking time out to be a stay at home mom and raising their two boys. In Elburn Marcia worked at a bank as a supervisor over the teller line. Presently Marcia works for a stock market firm here in Modesto and involved in Nineveh on Saturdays as Team Leader over the Registration Team at the city outreach locations.
Chuck's desire for Nineveh Outreach is seeing people saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and we would share our possessions as anyone might have need as in the days of Pentecost (Acts 2:43-47).
Nineveh was the only city in the Bible where God saved not just a few but an entire city. Look out Modesto Calvary Temple is praying for a divine visitation from God as in the days of Jonah!
